Family is the new generation natural floor. Resistant, comfortable and versatile, it is 100% made in Italy. The structure is made of a 0.6 mm European white oak top layer, birch plywood and cork. It is built with the patented 5G® Fold Down system.

The philosophy behind Family focus on ecology and environmental preservation. For this reason, the Family production process, has zero chemical emissions and uses clean energy. The use of raw material is optimized to create the largest number of planks with the least waste of natural resources, reducing tree sawing. That’s why Family is the new generation sustainable wood floor.

Family combines the elegance of natural oak with the functionality of birch plywood and cork base. The result is a 100% natural floor of the highest quality and aesthetics, to give rooms the inimitable warmth of real wood.

HIGH-TRAFFIC RESISTANCE

Thanks to a specially patented coating, Family is highly resistant to foot traffic, making it ideal for use in busy public and private environments.

THE POWER OF CORK

The 1.5 mm underlayer of natural cork has several advantages. It is an insulator and softens the sound of footsteps. It adapts to every subfloor, making the installation cheap and fast. The waxes present in the cell wall make the cork practically impermeable to liquids and gases guaranteeing waterproof.

LIGHT AND TOUGH STRUCTURE

With over -20% less weight than the same category of flooring, Family offers the assurance of a strong structure with the benefits of lightweight materials. Transportation costs are reduced, as well as CO2 in the air, and floor handling is made easier for workers.

Affordable price for everyone thanks to the optimization of the production process that allows a significant reduction in costs without affecting the final quality of the product.

HYGIENIC

Family’s special antibacterial treatment, using non-volatile compounds, disintegrates bacteria, guaranteeing the healthiness of the surface.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING COMPATIBLE

Family is compatible with floor heating systems as long as the system is not subjected to excessive temperature changes.

EASY INSTALLATION

Family has the purpose to adapt to every user, in every destination of use, guaranteeing maximum performance. This is why it adopts the world’s most renowned and widely used click system, 5G® Fold Down System patented by Välinge Innovations AB. It guarantees easy installation, secure anchoring, excellent aesthetic results and long-lasting product quality. Thanks to the cork base layer, there is no need to use glue or nails: simply lay Family on top of the existing flooring layer and you will have a perfect floor in zero time.

A strong and
easy-to-handle
structure

Family’s structure is built with an oak veneer surface, finished for high traffic and with antibacterial treatment, a birch plywood body and an integrated cork base. This assembly is strategic in combining aesthetic quality, lightness, acoustic and thermal insulation, resistance and hygiene.

The value of certifications

Certifications are a key element to achieve Family’s qualities.

Family complies with the European standard EN 14342, which grants the CE marking. Tests on Family are carried out only at certified laboratories, such as CATAS. Furthermore, the raw material used to manufacture Family can come from certified forests. Request FSC® certified products.
