QF 2/3
• Sap creeping on the edges and very limited on both faces. • Small sound and live knots of 30mm diameter maximum. • No heart.
QF 3/4
• Knots of max 70 mm diameter are permitted. • Live knots are predominant with occasional dead and/or open knots. • Trace of heart is allowed, sound sap allowed but limited to one face and or edges.
QF 4XX
• All defect are allowed: unlimited knots, sap, cracks, discoloration.
