POPLAR

Poplar, with quite fast growth rates, is a light wood, easy to process and season.

It is light in color, sometimes differentiated with whitish sapwood and brown heartwood. Even though we are accustomed to see poplar trees in the form of cultivation, these “woods” still bring benefits to the environment: in fact, each poplar uses 850 m3 of carbon dioxide every cubic meter of wood generated, obviously releasing oxygen.
